IRCTC has decided to roll out a special pilgrimage train from Bangalore that will leave on 23rd July, 2014 and travels via Chennai, Vijayawada and Warangal to allow pilgrims and tourists to travel to the holy towns of Gaya and Kashi and also to have holy bath in the month of Prayag.

The Yatra has been planned in such a way that tourists will be at Gaya on Aadi Amavasya Day to perform ‘Pindadan’. This will be followed by Darshan at Kashi on Monday and Ayilya Nakshatra Sarpa Dosha Pooja on 28th July.

The journey will culminate in Bangalore on 30th July. The package includes A/C train travel, triple share accommodation in hotels where small vehicles are used for sightseeing and night stays are planned. The pilgrimage tour has been classified into Luxury, Deluxe and Comfort segments.
