Badrinath and Kedarnath are two of the holy Char Dhams in Uttarakhand. Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter is a meticulously designed single-day journey for pilgrims who wish to visit the holy sites of Badrinath and Kedarnath. The one-day Yatra by helicopter ensures a comfortable pilgrimage for devotees who are running short of time or are not physically able to undertake the arduous Yatra. The helicopter tour starts from the capital of Uttarakhand, Dehradun and ends here on the same day after the visit of Badrinath and Kedarnath.
Dehradun to Kedarnath – Kedarnath to Badrinath – Badrinath to Dehradun
The holy Do Dham Yatra by helicopter starts early morning (7 AM) with take-off from Sahastradhara heliport in Dehradun to Guptkashi helipad. According to Government regulation, pilgrims need to change helicopter at Guptkashi and take another helicopter to proceed for Kedarnath.
Arrive at Kedarnath helipad. The temple is at a walking distance, around 700m. VIP Darshan slips for the temple are arranged for you. Enter the holy shrine and takes blessings of Lord Shiva. The temple is shrine of one of the divine 12 Jyotirlingas in India. The divine bliss is something beyond words.
After Kedarnath darshan by 11 AM, proceed towards Badrinath by road, transfer by car/jeep. Arrive to Badrinath within an hour. Badrinath temple is the holy shrine of Lord Badri, a form of Lord Vishnu. One of the holiest pilgrimage sites in India, the temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu.
After darshan, proceed to Sarovar Portico for Lunch.
After lunch, drive back to helipad for your return journey to Dehradun Sahastradhara helipad.
