Itinerary Details
Day 1
Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet our tour representative. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter starts from Kathmandu from where you will be taken to your hotel with your tour representative provided by us. After reaching the hotel, check in. The rest of the day is at leisure. Go to explore the surroundings on your own. Or simply, sit back and soak in the comforts of your room.

Day 2
Kathmandu sightseeing – fly to Nepalgunj

On day 2, get ready to visit Pashupatinath temple in the morning. The sacred Hindu temple is nestled on the banks of the Bagmati River and is thronged by a large number of devotees throughout the year. From there, you will proceed to Boudhanath Stupa. Owing to a massive mandala, the stupa ranks amongst the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. Keeping an eye in every direction, the stupa presents a unique spectacle.

Later in the afternoon, your Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter from Nepal starts. Fly to Nepalgunj which is located at a short distance. Nearly after about one hour of flying, you will reach the town. Check-in at the hotel and spend the day leisurely.

Day 3
Nepalgunj – fly to Simikot – Hilsa by flight – Purang

Wake up early in the morning to get a comfortable transfer to the airport in Nepalganj. Board a flight to Simikot which takes about 55 minutes to reach. Upon arrival, it's time to fly again. From the airport, embark on a helicopter which will take you to Hilsa. The ride will help you enjoy your Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter.

From here, get ready for a short and easy trek to Sher. En route delight in a wonderful experience as you cross the Karnali River. Leave for Purang (Burang) bus. After you reach, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and spend the rest of the day indulging in leisure activities.

Day 4
Purang

Today is only meant for you to acclimatize with the climatic conditions of Tibet. This will help you to complete your Mount Kailash tour with ease. Relax in your hotel's room for the entire day. If your energy level is high, you can go out to explore the surroundings on your own. But remember don't overexert yourself. Although via flight, but you have to embark on the trek tomorrow.

Day 5
Purang – Mansarovar Lake

Wake up the next morning, and get ready for the road journey to Lake Mansarovar. Today you will delight in the first glimpse of the pure Lake Mansarovar. Perched at 4590 m above the sea level, the picturesque lake is a holy site where you can actually feel the bliss. Take a holy bath which is said to absolve all the sins of a lifetime.

Highly revered by the devotees, the lake offers a treat to the eyes. Afterward, you will also partake in the parikrama of the lake. A major highlight of your tour package is circulating around the lake which will take around 3 hours.

Day 6
Mansarovar - Darchen by Road

Wake up early in the morning to worship Lake Mansarovar. After performing pooja, you will be comfortably transferred to Darchen by road. A small hamlet in the Purang, Darchen is comfortably positioned at the foot of Mount Kailash. Once you reach, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. The rest of the day is to be spent leisurely.

Day 7
Darchen to Dirapuk Trek

The day starts with a drive to the starting point of the trek to Mount Kailash. From here you will commence the Kailash tour. You can complete the circumambulation/parikrama on a pony that too at your own cost or by foot. If you wish to hire a pony or a porter, you have to book from here only. The trek ends at Dirapuk from where you will have darshan of holy Mt. Kailash. Reckoned as the holy abode of Lord Shiva, the sacred mountain awestruck the onlookers.

Call it a day at the hotel where you can check-in and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 8
Dirapuk to Zhuthulpuk Trek (4790 m / 9-10 hours)

Treat your eyes to the awesome view of Mount Kailash by waking up early in the morning. Thereafter, embrace yourself for trekking which is a bit challenging. At first, you will cross Dolma La, the highest point of the trip. The trek then begins to descend towards Zhuthulpuk. After some time, you will then be walking on a flat surface while relaxing a bit. Finally, you will reach Zhuthulpuk.

Stay overnight in a guesthouse/lodge/camp.

Day 9
Zhuthulpuk – Nandi Parvat – Kailash Kora – Hilsa – Fly to Simikot

Start your trek downwards to Nandi Parvat. It will take around 4 hours to reach here. Take rest for a while and begin another trek to Kailash Kora. Upon arrival at Kailash Kora, trekking will be complete. From here, board a bus that will take you to Hilsa. Arrive at Hilsa and then from there, if time permits, you will be airlifted to Simikot.

An overnight stay is planned at a lodge/resort.

Day 10
Simikot - Fly to Nepalgunj – Kathmandu (by flight)

From Simikot, board a flight to Nepalgunj. Upon reaching, embark on a connecting flight to Kathmandu the very same day itself. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Go to the local markets and shop for some amazing souvenirs.

Day 11
Departure from Kathmandu

This is the last day of your Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter, get up early and have a delicious breakfast.
